Bug Off
„Bug Off“ ist ein Sammelspiel, bei dem man sein Glück herausfordert. Das Ziel ist es, Bugs (eigentlich Käfer, hier: Insekten) in die eigene Sammlung aufzunehmen, bevor die Netze auftauchen und ahnungslose Bugs vom Tisch fegen. Im Spiel gibt es zwei Arten von Karten: Bug-Karten (auf denen einer von sechs verschiedenen Bugs abgebildet sind) und „Bug Off“-Karten (auf denen eine bestimmte Netzfarbe abgebildet ist). Jeder Spieler beginnt das Spiel mit drei zufällig ausgeteilten Bug-Karten.
In seinem Zug zieht ein Spieler eine Karte und spielt eine Karte aus. Um eine Karte auszuspielen, hat jeder Spieler die Wahl, entweder eine Bug-Karte offen auf den Tisch zu legen oder eine Bug-Karte zu verwenden, um passende, offen liegende Bugs für alle Spieler einzusammeln. Wird in diesem Zug eine „Bug-Off“-Karte gezogen, wird diese als Unterbrechung gespielt. In diesem Fall werden alle Bugs, deren Farbe mit der des Netzes übereinstimmt, sofort aus dem Spiel entfernt und können keiner Sammlung mehr hinzugefügt werden.
Die Spielenden erhalten Punkte für jeden Bug, den sie sammeln. Nachdem alle Karten ausgespielt wurden, gewinnt, wer die größte Sammlung an Bugs hat.

ABOUT THE GAME
A whimsical bug themed game of press your luck. Can you score your bugs without your opponent cashing in too? Can you get your bugs to the safety of the score pile before the next BUG OFF?
TAKING YOUR TURN
Draw 1 card.
If you draw a Bug Off card, immediately trigger a BUG OFF!
Otherwise, choose one of the following actions:
- PLACE A CARD:
- Place 1 of your cards face up in your display area.
- SCORE A CARD:
- Place 1 of your cards face up in the Central Scoring Area.
- All players move any bugs from their display area that match the scoring bug, to their Personal Scoring Area. These cards will score at end game.
BUG OFF!
- Immediately place the Bug Off card on the top of the BUG OFF stack, ensuring all prior cards remain visible.
- All players move any bugs from their display area that match the top Bug Off card, to the discard pile. These cards are out of the game.
- All players move any bugs from their display area that match any of the previous Bug Off cards, to the discard pile. These cards are out of the game.
- If this was the 6th Bug Off card, go directly to SCORING. Otherwise, the current player draws a card to begin their turn again.
SCORING & END GAME
The game ends when the 6th BUG OFF has been completed.
Each player counts the cards in their Personal Scoring Area. All bugs are worth 1 point.
The player with the most points wins!
Tie breaker:
The player with the most bugs matching the oldest Bug Off card.
