Schotten Totten is a quirky clever tug-of-war game for 2 players. Send your warriors and fight for control of the frontier that separates you from your opponent. You can put down a maximum of 3 cards in front of each stone and whoever has the highest-ranking combination of cards wins the stone.
And that is where it gets tricky. The 9 possible combinations are poker style so bluff and finesse are mandatory to deceive your opponent and manage your hand with skill.
Each round is set in the same way. Place one of your cards in front of a stone- but choose wisely as it cannot be moved afterwards. Once you are happy with where your card is, draw a new card.
When both players have placed three cards in front of the same stone, they compare the combinations formed by the cards on either side. The strongest combination wins the stone tile. The first player to control three adjacent or five scattered stones wins the game.
You want more of a challenge? Play with the “tactics” cards allowing you to perform special actions such as discarding opponent's cards or changing a card value.

SCHOTTEN TOTTEN: Los ihr Schotten, rockt das Clangebiet!
Schotten Totten ist ein witziges Tauziehen für zwei Personen. Schicke deine Krieger los und kämpfe um die Kontrolle über die Grenze, die dich von deinem Gegner trennt. Du kannst maximal 3 Karten vor jeden Grenzstein legen und wer die höchste Kartenkombination hat, gewinnt den Grenzstein.
Und hier wird es knifflig. Die 9 möglichen Kombinationen sind im Pokerstil gehalten, daher sind Bluff und Finesse unerlässlich, um deinen Gegner zu täuschen und dein Blatt geschickt zu verwalten.
Jede Runde läuft nach dem gleichen Schema ab: Lege eine deiner Karten vor einen Grenzstein – wähle aber mit Bedacht, da sie danach nicht mehr verschoben werden kann. Wenn du mit der Position deiner Karte zufrieden bist, ziehe eine neue Karte.
Wenn beide Spieler drei Karten vor denselben Grenzstein gelegt haben, vergleichen sie die Kombinationen der Karten auf beiden Seiten. Die stärkste Kombination gewinnt den Grenzstein. Wer zuerst drei nebeneinander liegende oder fünf verstreute Grenzsteine kontrolliert, gewinnt das Spiel.
Du suchst eine größere Herausforderung? Spiele mit Taktikkarten, mit denen du spezielle Aktionen ausführen kannst, z. B. Karten des Gegners ablegen oder einen Kartenwert ändern.
