It’s a classic tug-of-war where every play feels like a "mic drop" or a desperate cover-up. Whether you’re blocking informants or following the money, the tension is constant.
It is fast, surprisingly cutthroat, and arguably the most fun you can have with a political scandal. By the time you've connected the Informant to the Oval Office, you’ll realize that Nixon serves as a truly compelling and formidable adversary in a board game.

Watergate: Paranoia, Polyester und Politik
Stell dir eine Welt voll mit Polyesteranzügen, Wählscheibentelefonen und genug Paranoia, um ein Stadion zu füllen, vor. Das ist Watergate kurzgesagt. Dieses meisterhafte 2-Personen-Spiel ist keine öde Geschichtsstunde, es ist ein hochdynamisches Duell, in dem eine Person die Nixon Administation übernimmt und verzweifelt versucht zu überleben, während die andere Person The Washintgton Post spielt und auf Blut aus ist.
Das Spiel fängt die „Charlie Kelly“-Verschwörungsstimmung aus It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia perfekt ein, wo sich der Journalist Beweise buchstäblich an eine Pinnwand heftet, um den Präsidenten zu überführen. Es ist ein klassisches Tauziehen, bei dem sich jeder Zug wie ein spektakulärer Coup oder eine verzweifelte Vertuschungsaktion anfühlt. Ob man nun Informanten blockiert oder den Geldströmen folgt, die Spannung ist immer da.
Es ist rasant, überraschend gnadenlos und bietet wohl den größten Spielspaß, den man mit einem politischen Skandal haben kann. Sobald du den Informanten mit dem Oval Office in Verbindung gebracht hast, wirst du feststellen, dass Nixon in einem Brettspiel ein wirklich fesselnder und gewaltiger Gegner ist.
