Limit is a competitive strategy game where you take on the role of a nation’s leader, steering your country through history, from the early days of the Industrial Revolution to a near future.
Everyone starts with the same resources and opportunities. But what you do next is up to you. Using Politics cards, you’ll make decisions that shape your nation’s population, productivity, and standing on the world stage.
The game throws plenty of challenges your way, environmental disasters, financial meltdowns, and even military crises. Will you aim for sustainability and work with others, or push for domination? Can you stick to your vision, or will you need to adapt as global events unfold? It’s all in your hands.
Limit is played over 7 rounds, called "generations," during which you’ll guide your nation through three key phases. A political phase, where you pass policies that will shape your country’s future. A social phase where you look after your population. And an international phase, in which you interact with other players through diplomacy… or competition.
If you reach all 7 generations, the player with the most points wins. But don’t get too comfortable as the game can end early if players cause 4 global crises.

Limit: Krieg, Frieden und Ressourcen
Limit ist ein kompetitives Strategiespiel, in dem du die Rolle eines Staatsoberhaupts übernimmst und dein Land durch die Geschichte steuerst, von den Anfängen der industriellen Revolution bis in die nahe Zukunft.
Alle starten mit den gleichen Ressourcen und Chancen. Doch was du als Nächstes tust, liegt ganz bei dir. Mithilfe der Politikkarten triffst du Entscheidungen, die die Bevölkerungsentwicklung, die Produktivität und die Stellung deines Landes auf der Weltbühne prägen.
Das Spiel stellt dich vor zahlreiche Herausforderungen: Umweltkatastrophen, Finanzkrisen und sogar militärische Krisen. Wirst du auf Nachhaltigkeit setzen und mit anderen zusammenarbeiten oder nach Weltherrschaft streben? Kannst du an deiner Vision festhalten oder musst du dich an die globalen Ereignisse anpassen? Du hast die Wahl.
Limit wird über 7 Runden, sogenannte „Generationen“, gespielt. In diesen Runden führst du deine Nation durch drei Schlüsselphasen: In der politischen Phase verabschiedest du Gesetze, die die Zukunft deines Landes prägen. In der sozialen Phase kümmerst du dich um das Wohl deiner Bevölkerung. Und in der internationalen Phase interagierst du mit anderen Spielern durch Diplomatie ... oder im Wettbewerb.
Wenn alle 7 Generationen durchlaufen sind, gewinnt, wer die meisten Punkte hat. Doch Vorsicht: Das Spiel kann vorzeitig enden, wenn insgesamt 4 globale Krisen ausgelöst wurden.
