• Welche Spielaktion wolltest du durchführen?
I wanted to move my right-most cube on the Science Advancement Track up one step. Instead, the game automatically chose the left-most cube for me.• Was versuchst du, um diese Spielaktion auszulösen?
The state of my board is as follows:
Maxed out Technology Advancement Track. Used AI Singularity to move cube to Science Advancement Track. Science Advancement Track now has 2 of my cubes.
Maxed out Military Advancement Track.
On my turn:
I advanced on the Science Advancement Track using my right-most cube to trigger Academic Research. This lets me choose to repeat the benefit of my cube on another Advancement Track.
I choose the Military Track, using Mechs to draw another Civilization card.
The Civilization drawn is Entertainers. When this Civilization card is drawn mid-game, I am allowed to place my cube on any spot and gain the bonus. I choose gain a free advance on the Science Advancement Track.
The game automatically advances my left-most cube. (I didn't want to do this.)• Was passiert, wenn du dies versuchst (Fehlermeldung, Statusmeldung des Spiels, ...)?

I asked about this on BGG, and Joe Aubrey from Stonemaier Games said that I should have been able to perform the action I wanted to (move the right-most cube):

Granted, this is a very specific situation I pushed the game into so it's understandable if this was a bug that was overlooked.

J'ai fais une alliance avec un joueur qui est allé au bout de la piste technologie. Lorsqu'il a atteint le bout de la piste, mon cube technologique a disparu.

My issue was similar. I played Renaissance and it bugged when I try to move either cube up when I had 2 cubes on a track. My game is stuck.

2 bugs happened. i was the spies. copied opponents advancement track. game glitched, wouldnt let me. but than automatically moved me but without any benefit than asked me to do the same move again. second time no benefit as well.
also moved on military track to the 3rd square on first tier. game did not allow me to conquor or select from the dice

Advanced to Military 10 Nuclear Bomb. Played Age of Discovery and rolled Military. I had a second cube on the Military track from completing the tech track and the game wouldn’t allow me to choose which cube to advance, it forced me to move the lower cube from the starting spot to M1. Safari and Chrome on iPhone.
