I know there's some debate about the rules translation regarding color of gems when unloading.
However, in either interpretation of the rules, you are allowed to begin your turn by unloading a white gem into the blue discovery place. I was unable to do this.
It may be that I used the interface wrong. I began by choosing the canoe with the gem. I thought that choosing the discovery place first was ambiguous because I had two canoes on the same spot. One started with a gem, one started empty.
However, in either interpretation of the rules, you are allowed to begin your turn by unloading a white gem into the blue discovery place. I was unable to do this.
